Plainfield has always been a strong community of values.  Due to Covid 19 Plainfield Schools had to cancel Weekday Religious Education (WRE) which was offered to all 4th-grade students for one hour a week.  Each family had the option to give permission for their child to attend.  We would like to see WRE  reinstated so that students can have the opportunity to learn about the Bible, or other religious beliefs, along with important character-building skills that go along with each lesson.  WRE has benefited the Plainfield Community for over 50 years by teaching good moral values to the students.  Please help by signing a petition that will be presented to the school board showing the community's support of having WRE reinstated.  Thank you!
