The ocean is a vast and mysterious place and most of us fear it, we fear it for it is unfamiliar to us so we forget about it, we pollute it, we destroy it. We destroy the thing that could actually wind up saving us all! But now before you start to think that I’m stretching it or exaggerating  the ocean is extremely important to just life in general because if the ocean disappeared it would stop raining  and if the rain stoped there would be no more plants and you know what happens without plants the animals start to die and without plants, animals,and water humanity dies along with it .So now that you understand how much the ocean does for us now we should talk about why we should fund underwater exploration. There are not that many talking about this and supporting it after all people are a lot more interested in outer space but in the words of Amitai Etzioni  “Mars can wait the ocean can’t“. The ocean is a part  of our planet and we deserve to know what’s underneath, but we’ll never get anywhere if we don’t start somewhere.
