Our mother has been diagnosed with neurological disorder resulting in psychosis and delusions. They believe they have won a massive lottery prize and continuously give away their money in hopes to receive this prize. At surface level my parents seem to be aware and resourceful.. this has helped them bypass the general questions of incapacity evaluations. This has spiraled out of control to the point my father and her are currently homeless after five years of pushing for them to get help.

Our parents are both diabetic and mother is confined mostly to a wheel chair. This family is fighting to take action with helping them into a guardianship but we need to provide the courts with the proof of their incapacitation due to mental illness. My parents have not accepted services offered by agencies and also revoked power of attorney from family.

We’re going to need the help of the state or county to get them on track.  We need a push in the right direction! Mental illness is such a hard battle and we want our parents safe and healthy. My father mostly goes along with my mother’s plans so let’s steer this into a better direction! 
If we could get the common wealth attorney or county officials to evaluate my parents further then they’d easily see they need services. Either outcome we can’t stop fighting for their well being and safety!
