Anne really wants a cat but her dad does not want her to have one because he says we have too many pets already and his heart is made of stone. But the old lady who rents out our basement literally stole Anne's favorite cat and she never even goes upstairs anymore. Anne's dad should let her get a cat because cats are cheaper than therapy and it's a fair trade for doing a master's so anne can get a fancy job to help pay for his retirement home in a few years. Anne's super cool neighbors have offered her a free cat (shown above) as a grad present so this endeavor is as financially responsible as Anne herself.
