No one like Alfie should be going through the nightmare the he is once let alone three times. I support the plea for the NHS to fund his treatment.ass matter of urgency.

Alfie and his family, friends and supporters represent the hope, love and solidarity of caring citizens against life’s privations. Reducing the scale and scope of the NHS’ own capabilities to keep pace with offering new treatments (that the rich can avail themselves of) is of itself a privation in a so-called liberal democracy (currently the world’s 5th largest economy, that economists say will be at the bottom of the top 10 richest countries by the end of the decade - whilst the rich will be proportionately richer). If we object to ordinary citizens having declining expectations of good health whilst wealthier, tax-avoiding voters get preferential health care, then a vote for Alfie in this petition is a vote for the health of our Society, an informed Democracy and our children’s future.
