We are facing a major energy crisis. In solidarity to the restrictions taking place in the world, we need to participate in this global effort. It is also our role, as a leading institution, to be examplary in our position.Columbia University created the first Climate School. Actions from Columbia University students, faculty and staff should follow through. 

Lets ask Columbia University Housing to modernize its heating system, allowing residents to regulate the heat and prevent inefficiencies coming from overheating spaces. Many students facing really hot apartments, out of desperation, end up opening their windows to make the unit friendlier.
