Help ensure your child can get into their local secondary school

VIAT (Valley Invicta Academies Trust) are intending to change their admissions policy to Invicta Grammar School so children who attend a Valley Invicta Primary School will have greater priority than children who live closer to the school. This means local children who could walk to Invicta possibly having to go to a school where they need to use transport. It means greater traffic, congestion and pollution in and around the Grove Green area and surrounding areas. It could potentially mean an impact (decline) in house prices as the schools are a major factor in ensuring that these stay stable - but if local children are now not the priority, what then?
This impacts not only the local children of Grove Green and surrounding areas but also the residents who don't have children when they have to endure an increase in traffic and congestion.
Anybody in the Grove Green and surrounding areas is potentially impacted by this proposal so we need you to support the cause to oppose this change.
