Problem
There seems to be a very high level of interest from the exceptional people on the SCI team in participating in the "Nailed it" baking competition. However, because life happens, finals are upon us, OT is raining down like a monsoon, and the rest of us procrastinate, a delay of the current December 5, 2018 deadline would allow more time to complete this daunting task.
Solution
We the people ask that the deadline be pushed back to some time on the weekend of December 7, 2018. This would allow us at worst 2 additional days for submissions and at best 4 more days.
Personal story
I am Dave and my story starts in Minnesota where I have a bad habit of opening vehicle windows while the A/C is on and the temperatures outside are scorching....in a stern and reassuring voice we all heard it: "Close the window, DAVE!" and the rest is history.
