Student bus fares in London should be no more than £0.75

Being a student and travelling in London is not as impressive as the transportation in London itself. I have come across people my age in university who admit to not wanting to pay for travel fare and therefore end up walking everywhere. As one may imagine during the summer and winter periods this may not be ideal for long journeys. Which in turn results in students not going anywhere at all. As a student you like to experience the life around you and make sense of the world we live in. However, if fares are not reasonable the enrichment of our young adult lives also miss out. Whether this be on opportunity and experience that society demands of us so greatly or the simple memories with the people around us. Decreasing the bus fare to £0.75 instead of £1.50, will make a difference. Students will feel comfortable to travel locally and across London allowing us to take in all of what our city has to offer without thinking about the travel costs as a crucial influence when planning a simple journey.
