With the change of times the perks , pensions and salaries of Politicians, bureaucrats and governmental organisations sky rocketed high disproportionately  at the whims of the rulers of Indian / state Governments.

Being equal in all respects , if not more in terms of contribution , work conditions and knowledge the EPF 95 pensioners ( PSUs and Private )are looked down upon with a meagre less than a ₹1000 per month pension and no medical facilities at all .For many their survival has become difficult with them being unable to buy one medicine at least with the income for self , thus , it is not an exaggeration that it would be setting up suicidal tendencies amongst them and their families being unable to make both ends meet at the fag end of their lives.

Despite repeated reminders ( as understood) the issue has been dragging for decades despite our rulers boasting of a welfare state of opportunities . The welfare schemes accommodate and pay more pensions to the senior citizens irrespective of their work or education etc. basically vote as the criterion .There are millions of EPF95 pensioners (especially those retired around year 2K whose retirement package too was dismal)whose cry for a fair treatment was unheard with those blessed politicians, bureaucrats, government officials/ their families enjoying  benefits adequately more than anticipated as compared to what they were offered while in office .

It is surprising that The hon’ble PM, hon’bleCJ,and all concerned of this great nation are turning Nelson’s eye towards this burning issue affecting millions of families .

It is high time that The hon’ble PM and the judiciary , the politicians, the bureaucrats, officials, the experts, the media should converge on this burning issue to evolve a policy at once to safe guard these lots without any further delay to treat them on par with the blessed lots who are enjoying hefty ever increasing perks and pensions( considering the expertise of these EPF 95 pensioners and their contribution while in service with negligible retirement packages in many cases around year 2K )
