As healthcare workers we have a higher risk of catching covid. When we get covid we should still be paid for the time we are off, we all still have bills to pay. Our hard earned PTO is supposed to be used as we like and is often used so we don’t burn out from our very stressful jobs. 
We are called ‘healthcare heroes’ but we are not supported or treated as such. 
The vaccination has not stopped us taking time off work from getting the virus.
