My ultimate goal with this is to make it where vets can go to any hospital and recieve cost free care. It's unfair for people who fought for our rights, some by choice, others forced to go fight. Yet we expect them to only go to VA hospitals where most recieve poor quality of care. I had to watch my father die in a nursing that was to put it the nicest way complete and utter disappointment. He was 45 minutes away from his family and friends. But it was the only nursing home with an opening. . .  .that the VA would pay for. He was there for 2 weeks and they had no records of him having wounds or bed sores. He hadn't been cleaned properly. His bandages hadn't been changed in days or if ever. It's sad that people who put their lives on the line have to be limited to only a few options for care. They put their lives on the lines for us. Our government should be ashamed on how vets are forced to only go to certain hospitals because of the fear for not being able to afford care or medicine. I've seen videos where vets have called the VA before calling 911 cause they are afraid of the costs. So I wanna make a change. In the name of my father Walter Virgil Gilbreath Jr and the hundreds of thousands of other vets who don't deserve to go through what my father went through. No family should have to go through what my family went through. The hoops. The circus. The sad part is many families are experiencing this. At this very moment.
