Full body scans before being told you are "cancer free".

I was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump aged 33, subsequently was given the "all clear", "cancer free", and I always questioned "how do they know". I wasn't scanned when I completed all of my treatment, it was just assumed it worked, and I trusted my doctors who by the way have given me the best care I could of asked for.
However, I always knew in my heart there was something not right, I had a constant pain in my thigh from the time I finished chemo, eventually a crick in my neck lead to examinations and I am now living with stage 4 incurable secondary breast cancer of the bones.
My hip, my C2 spine and two further places in my spine.
A hip replacement, a fractured C2 spine later, I'm living positively.
However, had I been listened to would my fate have been different?
This is why I think we need to campaign for full body scans at the end of treatment to ensure that there has not been a rougue cell set up camp, after escaping the wrath of chemo / radiation or surgery before been given that all clear result.
Will you help me?
