I was absolutely disgusted that hours after giving birth (need I say exhausted physically and emotionally) I was asked for my personal details. Due to this exhaustion I gave them over (to Bounty) which I would never do in any other situation. It's absolutely taking advantage of women in a vulnerable state. Ever since I've been receiving junk mail. I've worked in marketing for ten years and this would be absolutely unacceptable via any other channel.

My wife was harassed on 3 separate occasions by Bounty, even after telling nursing staff & placing a sign on her door- she was recovering from severe pre-eclampsia & had just had a Caesarian.

I was in hospital for two weeks having my twins as I was unwell and three separate bounty reps pestered me despite each being told I did not wish to see them. I had a c section, preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome and diabetes and one of the twins went to SCBU and they still would not leave me alone.

It's difficult enough being a new mum without commercial companies trying to sell you stuff you don't need and as they are allowed in hospitals it gives a false impression of their value

I am appalled to hear Bounty are suggesting that breast feeding mothers should have their milk tested to check nutrition levels. And also appalled that HMRC pay Bounty £90 k to distribute child benefit forms.

I found the bounty rep at my hospital rude and intrusive at a time when you are quite vulnerable. I was clearly upset in tears and they were still trying to sell me a photo.

Women are very vulnerable just after they have given birth and need to be protected from this sort of intrusion

I was visited by a bounty rep after a long and traumatic birth. I was so tired and filled with opiates that I had problems differentiating between her and the health professionals who had been popping in and out. It was only when she asked if i wanted a picture of my baby I cracked on this was a commercial visit. It was so intrusive and the rep definitely tried her best to take advantage of my vulnerable position. What a shameful practice.

Although the rep was polite, I hadn't slept for three days, my baby was poorly and I wasn't sure what she wanted my details for. Very pushy with the photos despite my son having jaundice and a tube in his arm.m

Had my wife harrassed by one of these reps at Edinburgh Infirmary (where our care was otherwise first class and highly professional) 12 hours after c section, in the middle of trying to breastfeed a crying baby. I regard this a breach of our privacy, and fraudulent as the reps are effectively masquerading as medical staff. The pack contains mostly junk vouchers which I can get on the internet, only a few useful samples. And what is going on paying them to distribute the child benefit form? That is easily obtainable elsewhere. Finally why are private reps allowed in when our baby's grandmother has to wait until visiting hours?
