Hi, my name is Sandra, I have 5 children. My youngest son has severe learning disabilities, autism, excema, global development delay and he is non verbal. 
The reason for this petition is because my son like millions of other children and adults can’t speak, he can’t tell us when he is in pain or feels unwell. He can not answer questions such as “where feels sore?” 
When we take my son to the doctors or to the hospital, he is not very co operative as he doesn’t understand why he’s there and why the nurses and doctors are trying to examine him. 
My sons mental age is around 10-12 months old, he is 9 years old. 
As the result of my son being uncooperative, he doesn’t get checked over as well as a verbal person would. 
I would like you to sign this petition as I feel very strongly that people like my son should be given a full health check every 12-18 months. This could include having bloods taken, scan done, general health check. 
My son can’t talk but I am now and forever will be his voice, I’m loud as many of you will know BUT let’s all make some noise for non verbal people !! As a large number of people, we will all be heard ��
