7 yr old son has type since he was 2 yrs old other cgm's would have made it a lot easier I believe ( more accurate) but choice is always a good option

My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes and CGM is the best way to control fluctuating blood sugar. Why should Medtronic have the monopoly on this market in Canada. Plus the Dexcom sensor has already proven better in other markets

I was diagnosed type 1 at age 11 months. I can't wait for Animas Canada (Johnson & Johnson Company) to get the Dexcom G4 Platinum and eventually the G5 on the shelves in Canada. This would greatly improve my life and that of many other diabetics in Canada.

My 5 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I'd like to know that we have options when choosing a new pump and cgm system. There is always advancements in treating diabetes and we need to keep up with the rest of the world.
