With recent events and increase in violence, abduction and D. A against women I think it would be a valuable asset to offer within schools self defense classes to teenage females, not only to give them the tools to defend themselves if needed but to give them confidence in being independent, and to not walk with fear, this will also be carried into their adulthood and can be utilized if they are in a dangerous or life threatening situation either within their home or whilst out.

Society hasn't changed and it won't change, we are always given guidance as a women to be aware of your surroundings, to have an alarm on etc, but if society deems that the paths we walked are still to be wary of then give us the tools to protect ourselves.
