Harassment caused to Claimants by rejection of claim by HDFC ERGO on false Ground.

I had an car accident on 3rd June 2018 while travelling to Vrindavan. I have policy of HDFC ERGO GENERAL LIFE INSURANCE bearing Claim no. C230018072575. I informed them about the road accident. Their Surveyor Visited the Spot where accident took place. The surveyor asked for bribe of Rs15000 for getting the claim approved. Being a responsible citizen of India. I denied to give bribe to him. I have submitted all requisite documents to company such as Registration Certificate, Driving License and an affidavit affirming that I was driving the Car. It's been one month now from the date of accident and claim has not been approved on false grounds.The Company is asking for documents which have no relevance with the accident. Therefore they are not granting claim. I am suffering very much as my Mother Is "CANCER PATIENT" thereby Its very much problematic for her to travel without car. This Delay has harrassed and tortured my Family in very serious manner. I tried to contact company several times but they are not able to give any satisfactory answer. Insurance policy is an kind of assurance which we have towards our family that if any accident happens then insurance policy will support our family. But Now-a-days the insurance companies are harassing the Policy Holders.

If the insurance Companies will avoid corrupt practises and work fairly then harassment and torture caused by them won't be there.
