HCR86 is now HCR 10. THE TIME HAS COME.
Mar 2, 2019 —
2019 marks the 400th year since the first slave was brought to the shores of North America in what is currently Jamestown, Virginia. In the 2018 General Assembly, HCR86 one almost unanimous support in the house with only two dissenting votes...one of which we were told was a mistake. Though the bill made it to the Senate floor, it was not given enough priority to make it there before the last day of the session. It has now been reintroduced as HCR10. I've been told that we are probably going to have to babysit (i.e. push) this all the way through, so your participation will be critical. However, we believe it is necessary if we want to see this get done. Over the next few weeks, you may asked to make phone calls and make noise on your social networks to help us push this to the forefront of Missouri lawmakers' consciences. I want to THANK YOU in advance for joining us in this effort. It's time to close the loop and break the generational cycle of legislative injustice. It's time to #DRAWTHELINE
