Speaking as a Kiwi living in Seattle and working in the tourism industry, this is essential support and provides enormous benefit for everyone in Hawke's Bay. It should be continued, please.

If you deplete funding, you won't have a Tourism industry. Hawkes Bay with its wine industry is a secret that the world is not awake to yet.

I grew up in Hawkes Bay for the forst 18 years of my life, since leaving I have witnessed the area boom of the back of the tourism indistry and I believe it would be irresponsible to cut this funding and this region as so much more to offer

As a retailer in HB for 30 years I have seen the effect of tourism on our region. .We employ 10-15 staff in the height of the season to service the growing numbers of visitors to our region .Amongst these staff are students needing holiday jobs to help continue their education .If the HBTourism dollar drops then jobs and businesses associated directly and indirectly will go and our region will suffer .To lose Annie Dundas and her team would be a huge loss .Please keep the status quo and look at increasing over the next five years to keep our region vibrant and noticed in the world .
