It's been a long time that TV shows have been the exact same. They got one unique goal: entertainment. And in this ocean of various TV Shows sometimes one of them stands out from the others, like The Leftovers. When I first watched it, it was like kind a weird, but it was the first time that a TV show really got to me, in the way that I can't explain.

I'll admit it, it was not that easy to accept that there's will be no answers to all the questions that I had. Basically: why people disappear ? What happened that day ? But after severals episodes I've understand what happened was not what this TV show talks about, but how people deal with it. Then, The Leftovers, became by far the best thing I have watched in a very long time. So why does The Leftovers sounds so special to me ?

First of all, the writing, is stunning, it's dramatic, it's dark, for once the characters do not have the emotional range of a teaspoon. We can really have compassion for them, even if we can't stop thinking: "How would I deal with this situation ?" I love how its complexity makes me think. In short the writing is awesome, period.

Then, the acting ans casting are flabbergasting (yes, really :p) I guess there is nothing else to say, and if you not convince, take your Tv remote, stop reading this and start watching it RIGHT NOW.

Finally the music is great (And I say great because I don't have anymore adgectif left in my adjectif machine gun to describe this show).

We need a TV show that gives us a breath of fresher. It's new, it's dark, it's complex, it's great, the writing is awesome, the casting too: The Leftovers is truly an experience and that's why the show must go on.

So here we are. And we need to be heard. We need a Season 3, that's all.
