Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is considering changing its current policy of making consent applications for water bottling plants publicly notifiable. This is the policy which has stopped any new water bottling plants in Hawke’s Bay since its introduction in 2016. It is intended that the petition be presented to the Hawke’s Bay Regional Planning Committee at its next meeting on 3 June 2020.
