Stop the conversion of building use at 1b Sunnyside Gardens
This petition made change with 106 supporters!
It is important to keep the extension of 1b Sunnyside Gardens, Upminster for commercial use only and not free for pubs and nightclubs to open there.
This is because it will destroy the peaceful nature of a residential community and devalue the area if pubs and clubs are allowed to open at this site.
This site is also within close proximity (60m) to a Primary School which should not be exposed to the crowd or behaviours that are attributed to such establishments.
I have started this petition as I am most directly affected by the change of use of the building to allow pubs and clubs to open. My flat is attached to the building itself and I am extremely concerned about noise disruption late at night which will affect my life as a commuter. (You need to understand that this area is very quiet and predominantly the home of families with very young children and retired residents). However I am the voice of many people in the area who are worried about such things as litter, parking issues, drunken behaviour, child safety and most importantly, letting the council behave in the interests of money rather than in the interests of local residents.
Please sign the petition and let us all stand together against the councils, MPs and people in power who never listen to the man. Let our voice be heard so we can set a precedent for councils all over the country who think they can ruin our little communities.
