Have the FDA withdraw petition to allow use of aspartame or other harmful chemicals in milk products.

One of the ingredients is Aspartame, and this is NOT a suitable and safe sweetener. Aspartame is known to cause cancer. Many scientific studies have been made to proof this. If this petition is approved, manufacturers of milk and milk products will not be required to notify which chemicals are being used to "enhance" the flavor in the milk. This takes away the right of consumers to avoid such harmful chemicals. This is an excerpt from the petitions' text: "IDFA and NMPF request their proposed amendments to the milk standard of identity to allow optional characterizing flavoring ingredients used in milk (e.g., chocolate flavoring added to milk) to be sweetened with any safe and suitable sweetener—including non-nutritive sweeteners such as aspartame." Here is just one of the many sources to get more information on the studies that have been made regarding Aspartame: http://aspartame.mercola.com/sites/aspartame/studies.aspx

We don't want artificial sweeteners, we don't want GMOs, we don't want products from animals that have been treated with hormones! We have the right to be informed as to which foods contain such chemicals or which foods are derived from such animals so we can avoid them!
