My name is cory. My girlfriend morgan has suffered ever since the age of 13 with chronic illness. They are what she calls invisible illnesses. This is because you cant tell she has them just by looking at her. This is the reason a lot of doctors don't take these kinds of patients seriously. She has more than 15 diseases that they know of. Dysautonomia , eds, and so many more things that just don't get taken seriously by medical professionals. There are no cures for any of them. Just symptom managers. There is no palliative care in onondaga county. Only hospice. The Difference Between Palliative Care and Hospice. Both palliative care and hospice care provide comfort. But palliative care can begin at diagnosis, and at the same time as treatment. Hospice care begins after treatment of the disease is stopped and when it is clear that the person is not going to survive the illness.......there is no palliative care in Morgan's county. Unless i can help it. I think its time to change the world. There's no reason for someone to die because they cant get ivig /platelet transfussions and the correct pain medicine at the same time. She has to stop treatments that prolong her life just to get pain relief. Please show the world that all lives matter because you never know what can happen tomorrow. Thank you.
