Eid is a very special holiday for Muslims around the world. Taking away this essential day is unacceptable. Many schools around the area are getting a day off and it is high time for the Bethpage school District to do the same. Respecting customs and cultures is vital, and this will be a step closer to achieving inclusion and diversity.
