Havant borough council want to impose a new parking rule throughout the area of leigh park. We as a community are asking for the council to re-evaluate the new rules and and to inforce more parking spaces within the area to ease congestion of illegally parked vehicles. We as a community understand people park in a unsafe Manor but we are requesting that more spaces are put in place by havant Borough Council to prevent this from happening. We don't believe in penalising the community for the minority that do not follow the current layout. Please read the below to what havant borough council want to implement..

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING)
AND (DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS ONLY PARKING) ORDER 2019
Notice is hereby given that Havant Borough Council pursuant to an arrangement
entered into under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000, with the Council of the
County of Hampshire, propose to make a permanent Order under the provisions of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition
of waiting on lengths of Bitterne Close, Bondfields Crescent, Botley Drive, Crondall
Avenue, Dunsbury Way, Finchdean Road, Keyhaven Drive, Locksheath Close, Middle
Park Way, Middle Park Way Car Park, Selborne Avenue, Silkstead Avenue, Sunwood
Road, Swaythling Road, Winterslow Drive and Yateley Close, a “waiting limited to 1
hour, return prohibited within 2 hours” on lengths of Middle Park Way Car Park and a
“Disabled Badge Holders Only Parking” on a length of Middle Park Way Car Park,
Havant.
A copy of the draft Order, plan showing the affected lengths of roads and a statement of
the Borough Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the
Public Service Plaza, Havant, during normal office hours, and at Leigh Park Library, 50
Park Parade, Havant during normal library opening hours. Library staff will NOT be in a
position to answer questions on the proposal and all enquiries should be addressed to the
undersigned, quoting Ref No. AS/TRO/421.

website at www.havant.gov.uk/tro Any comments supporting or objecting to the
proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made, or any other comments
must be received by 27 September 2019. These may be sent:-
