I used to live in the area and fed up of seeing beautiful bits of countryside become building sites

This open space is essential to the local community. It is much used and loved. It is so important for families and children and everyone to get exercise and air. Especially as an escape from such a busy road.

The recreation ground is an amazing open space. It defines the extent of the country park is reduces the astetic impact of the land fill site. The large area of playing field and football pitches is unique in the Hastings area.

This is a badly thought out plan.

"This is a poorly thought-out proposal. It is a land grab of a key community recreation area. We do need more housing, but not inside a Countryside Park on a flood plain next to a dump in the face of rising sea levels, increased rainfall, and ecological damage."

Several reasons. It's a flood plain. It's valuable open space. We don't want the extra traffic. Leave it alone!

Any development must have the support of the local community.
Wildlife areas must be protected.
Take the climate and ecological emergency seriously.
Stop building in areas at risk of flood.

The new road was to reduce the traffic on Bexhill Road..this won't help. This should be left as recreation space...no schools, doctors for another 190 houses. Disagree with this completely.
