I used Hartz Ultraguard topical flea drops on my 11 month kitten,after 5-6 hours he started to throw up. The next morning he became lethargic and unable to walk. I took him to our vet where upon examination it was found he was having a "Toxic" reaction to the Ultraguard.He then was given Rx's for vomiting and I was told to bring him back the following day. Unfortunately my kitten passed away due to this so called "Vet" approved flea medicine! He also became incontinent and unable to walk. He had to be given Electrolytes thur a syringe along with water. I administered these liquids every 2 hours praying the whole time that he would pull thur. Unfortunately the "poison" already had done illreversible damage to his kidneys and liver. He was taken from me in the most cruel and negligent way,and Not by by negligence,but that of this deadly product! I feel this "deadly garbage" should be removed from the publics access and it should Never be stated that this product be promoted as "Veterinary recommended. This statement is very misleading. I used to have confidence in the name of Hartz animal products, not anymore. My false belief cost my kitten his life along with a heart wrenching situation for me to go thur. These have been some of the hardest days of my life and all of it could have been prevented had the Hatrz Co. been honest about the deadly side effects your products can and do cause!!
