Its about time that Harry Maguire has the captain’s armband taken off him at Manchester United. This comes due to his lack of leadership both on & off the pitch. Also with how that there are much better leaders/captains in the team like Bruno Fernandes & David de Gea.

A prime example is during the 6-1 loss to Tottenham, Maguires teammate Anthony Martial was sent off. Whilst Rashford was arguing to the Ref about the decision, Maguire was seen standing with his arms besides him not saying a word. In addition, you can see that he doesn’t bark others at his team mates pushing them on like Bruno Fernandes & David de Gea regularly does.

His recent performances also does not reflect on what a true United captain is & how we went from leaders Keane,Vidic & Cantona to Harry Maguire.

In addition, the off the pitch issues he had within Greece does not reflect what Manchester United is about & he brought shame towards the badge and him having the captain armband doesn’t help.

It’s time for change of the Captaincy to somebody much more deserving of it.
