Author Don Winslow, with the help of his publishers, has profited from the use of racial slurs throughout many of his books. If we are to ever overcome institutional racism in our society today, we can not normalize the use of white supremacist language being promoted and published by authors like Mr. Winslow. We can not allow such authors to further racial wealth inequality by capitalizing on their use of hate speech against minorities. 

We are demanding that all publishers, distributors, and retailers remove such books from their inventory, and stop the promoting and printing of racist materials. We hope to create a teaching moment by standing united against racism.
