The Issue
It is very clear from section (68 subsection of income tax) ordiance that no valuatior would appointed by the FBR, it would only be appointed by FBR where the property prices is not ascertainable, so our property of DHA lahore and all Pakistan is ascertainable in the shape of DC rate.
The Rearl Estate Bussiness and construction Bussiness has slowed down since the Government of Pakistan has ordered the state bank of Pakistan (SBP) designated valuers of tax on the market rate, instead of Deputy Commissioners (DC) rate . Transferred of plots and houses have almost stopped since the new fiscal year started .
An average from 1st of July 2016 to 19th of July 2016 just few transactions are done.
On the other hand in DHA lahore average 70 to 100 transtations for deals are completed in daily basic
The main concern of this massive property tax evaluation would cause capital flight from Pakistan to Dubhai Rearl Estate market where no huge taxes are applicable
I believed that capital flight of money from Pakistan to Dubhai it would not return which cause Major failure of economy and might lead to a glut in the Rearl Estate sector of Pakistan
Tax are more important for our country but its will cause more problems for a poor people who earn their food from this industry
