Save our local BP filling station

My family and I have run the local BP petrol filling station in Belsize Park for nearly 20 years. It has now emerged that the landlord may not renew our lease in 2020 due to redevelopment of the land. This business provides a necessary amenity for local residents as there is already a shortage of petrol stations in the area. Many local elderly and disabled residents use this garage as their local filling station to pay bills and use the car wash. If the garage was to close there is no where locally for people to go. The nearest garage would be on Finchley Road and given that there is major construction work already there it would nearly impossible for people to go to.
Also there is not a need for a bigger hotel in the area so redeveloping the land will provide nothing but noise, pollution and inconvenience to local residents.
Please support us is ensuring both the landlord and Camden council are aware of our concerns
Harmsworth Pension Fund please extend our lease so we are able to continue to provide our service to the local community.
