Harley Davidson is shutting down the North Cascades Harley Davidson dealership, located in Burlington, WA, at the end of this month (July 2020)

This is not a decision by the dealer owner as he is doing well financially according to discussions I have had with his staff.  This is a restructuring/reorganizing decision by corporate HD.

Since the closure of the Harley Davidson dealership in Bellingham several years ago, North Cascades HD is the nearest dealership for the residents of Whatcom, Skagit, and Island counties, comprised of over 400,000 residents and 4,000 square miles of Washington.

Without North Cascades HD, we will have to travel to Marysville to the nearest Harley dealer, a drive of over an hour for many in the affected counties.

There are eight dealerships in the greater Seattle area, any of which could be closed without affecting Harley Davidson's customer base significantly.

Harley Davidson's corporate decision may be based on a lack of knowledge about local conditions.  Please vote YES to keep North Cascades Harley Davidson open.  I will make sure that the results get forwarded (somehow) to Harley.  Also please call and politely register your opinion with Harley Davidson's customer service line at (800) 258-2464 option 3, then option 3 again.  Also feel free to visit the website I have set up at http://savenorthcascadesharley.weebly.com
