Petition Closed

Local Residents and Business Owners sign Petitions to save Green Jobs.

South Bay Vocational Center's "Clean Earth Recycling" a free recycling community service program which provides local jobs to individuals

with disabilities is being terminated by Colleen Mock at the Harbor Regional Center for no valid reason. The Clean Earth Program which operates in

the mirror image of Goodwill's Recycling Program has been in existence for over 14 years. "Our program is ran just like Goodwill's recycling

program and funded by the same people, the only difference is we actually go out into the community and travel to local businesses to pick up their

recycling, Goodwill does not. The community loves us! The parents and care providers who care for our workers are devastated," the program manager

says. If you are concerned with the rights of individuals with disabilities, saving our landfills, and protecting Green Jobs please join us in our fight.

If you would like to sign the petition to save Green Jobs provided by South Bay Vocational Center, please call 310-784-2032.
