The greatest threat to peace and security especially during this years electioneering period is the animosity between the president and his vice fueled by opposition leader rhetoric.

This tension has reached its boiling point and threatens to divide the country, plunging us into pre-post election violence.

A good proof of concept for political decency would be that the three parties participate in a well intended mutually agreed Handshake 2.0 to quell the boiled up feud and allow existing differences to sorted out amicably. 

As we approach the forthcoming general elections, it is important to have a enabling environment that will allow IEBC to conduct a free, fair and credible elections.
