It has come to light today that the Government is thinking very seriously of the privatisation of Channel 4.

I for one love Channel 4s excellent diversity and independent views. They take risks which is one of the reasons i for one love them.

They are the marmite of television stations. However, to hear that this Government of ours (unfortunately), want to interfere with something they don't even own is amazing. In one breath they are calling Russia for controlling the media whilst the next breath they want to privatise one of our our channels purely, to make money. There is no other reason.

If you have no ownership, no public funds being used how can you then make demands. I for one am sick to death of this Government walking all over our democracy with an air of invincibility. Its time we started to stand against it, before we have nothing left to defend.
