We Eagles pizza wernhill branch has been denied access into our shop after the keys was handed over to the Wernhill/broll Management by the sheriff since 20th September 2021. The landlord continue to refuse us access into the leased property where our lease supposed to expire in December 2022. There was No court eviction ordered against us by any competent court in Namibia and the landlord has taken matters in to their own hands by refusing entry and using force to keep our keys. The landlord has No right to keep our shop keys and they should hand it over back to us so we continue trading as per our lease duration. This is an act of unlawfull actions against our business and a violation of our constitutional rights as law abiding citizens. This action has affected 16 employees left with No jobs, which they now can not provide for their families and it has brought many financial implications and losses for our business at large as we can no longer keep up with our creditors and loan repayments due to the continues loss of income. We are suffering for the whole year now and we have hoped that the landlord could do the right thing and hand over our keys to enjoy peaceful leased premises but they still forcefully holding on to the shop keys. We are requesting the public to help and assist us in signing this petition in order for us to deliver/hand it over to the chairman of Olthaver and List Company. We want that Wernhill management hands over our keys for the shop effective immediately so we continue trading. Our lease time is close to an end and we will continue losing business if the shop stays closed. The landlord (Wernhill Park) together with their agent ( broll Namibia) under their holding company O&L has the power to handover the keys pending the outcome of the ongoing court process underway.We can Not keep suffering damages by landlords closing local businesses without court orders or eviction orders. LET US PUT A STOP TO SPOILIATION !!
