My daughter, Anabelle, was hit by a car on her way to school yesterday. We were established on the road and yet the woman did not stop and hit her.
The driver stopped enough for me to take a photo of her car before driving off.
The road opposite Bramley Village Bakery is notoriously difficult to cross and many drivers fly over the level crossing and don’t take into account that the school is so close.
Thankfully Ana’s injuries are minor, however I feel there is a dire need for extra road safety at Sherfield Road and Bramley lane.
Safety should be paramount. We need either a pelican crossing or a lolly pop man/lady to make the road safe for our children to get to and from school.
