Help local residents regain access to their homes by removing the Gosport Street Bus stop.

Following the closure of the Lymington Bus Station by GoAhead / More Bus, Hampshire County Council (HCC) designated a lamp post outside 1 Trafalgar place, Gosport Street as a Bus Stop.

This has resulted in bus passengers sitting on the steps of the adjacent houses restricting access to their front doors daily.

It is not reasonable to return home to find large numbers of people sitting on your door step, in fact it is very intimidating and stressful particularly when caring for a disabled relative.

Hampshire County Council has imposed this situation on residents for over 2 years making life very difficult and stressful for those affected.

Hampshire County Council and GoAhead say there is no safety concern and planning permission is not required.

Would you be happy with your son or daughter to return home to finds a strange man sitting on your doorstep?

Surely it's not right to impair access to someones home?

Residents request the Bus Stop be immediately removed, whilst HCC / GoAhead / MORE BUS continue to find an alternative solution.

Please help residents by signing the petition, many thanks for your time.
