The Board has approved the plans to build a gym at the Capon Bridge Elementary School.  The gym will be a free standing building with a breezeway.  The plans do not include bathrooms to be part of the gym.  Instead they are suggesting anyone using the gym can use the primary bathrooms (k-2 grade) the small bathrooms.  Imagine having an assembly there and a grandparent or even a parent has to use the restroom they 1.  Have to go to another building to use the bathroom and 2.  They have to use a bathroom designed for someone in kindergarten-second grade.  If money was allotted for this new build why not make it right the first time??  If you agree please sign the petition.  There is a Board meeting Monday, December 6th at 6:30.  Help me fill the Board meeting to find out why this wasn’t discussed and the community wasn’t made aware that the new gym would be lacking bathrooms.
