Keep our community locations of Parenting and Family Literacy Centers Open

On behalf of the families and caregivers who value and rely on our Parenting and Family Literacy Centers we would like to express our great desire to keep our programs open and local.
Our children rely on your amazing program to provide much needed social skills, educational experiences, advice, resources, and most importantly preparing them for school.
Most families who attend the program live local to the centers and walk each day to the program. Many of our families and caregivers do not have access to cars and cannot afford to or cannot take long trips on public transit with multiple children. Closing these local drop in centers would leave many families with no where to take their children to have these valuable experiences and learn these vital skills.
As educators you know how vital the first 5 years of life are. The center provides access to programs that help children grow their social, emotional and communication skills. A child's brain develops faster in the first 5 years than any other time in their lives. Without these centers, parents would not have a place to take their children to give them the best start possible.
Please keep our local Parenting and Family Literacy Centers open to help our children get the very best start they can.
