STUDENTS OF HAMILTON

The dress code of our high school is outdated and sexist. It targets specifically feminine clothing, and discriminates against different body types. While some students wear tops and sweatshirts with guns on them, young, MINOR girls are dress coded daily by ADULT faculty for dressing ‘too provocatively”. It’s time to make some change, and it starts with civil disobedience.

ON SEPTEMBER 20TH (Monday), we, the students of Hamilton, will protest the dress code by intentionally breaking it. Come to school in a outfit deemed ‘too inappropriate’, ‘too provocative’, or ‘too showy’, whatever that may be. From hats to crop tops. The more of us participate, the more loud the message will be. We will be heard.

Anyone may participate, and it’s very much encouraged to show support in whatever way you can.
