As a regular customer of Dollar Tree, I have been called to speak on this urgent matter. Many have relied on Dollar Trees affordable prices to provide for their family's needs. From putting food on the table, making birthdays special, and to providing basic necessities - Dollar Tree has been a lifeline for many families in low-income areas.

However, the recent price increase from $1.00 to $1.25 was already a blow and now there are plans to further increase prices from $1.25 to $1.50! This might seem insignificant for some but it is an additional burden for families struggling with poverty.

Dollar Tree stores are strategically located in low income areas or places of poverty as they cater specifically to people who cannot afford high-priced goods (Source: Business Insider). Yet, these continuous price hikes are making it increasingly difficult for us - the very customers they aim to serve - to afford even basic items.

Enough is enough! We call upon Dollar Tree management not only halt this proposed price hike but also reconsider their pricing strategy altogether in order not exacerbate the financial struggles of those living in poverty.
