For the majority of the world, 2020 was an extremely difficult year. A global pandemic, tragedy, pain, and hurt were the common themes in many people's lives. The year 2020 taught us to cherish and hold onto the good and the positive things in life. One of the ways people escape the challenges of daily life is to turn to the Hallmark Channel. Beginning at the end of October until the first week of January of every year, Hallmark provides their customers with 24/7 Christmas movies to jumpstart the Christmas and Holiday season, uplift people, and renew hope and joy. We love the storylines, characters, the messages, and of course, the love that comes along with each movie. Although we love the seasonal movies that accompany the new year, many of us experience some sadness once the Christmas movies end, yearning for more. Many have expressed how the Christmas movies have helped them move forward during COVID and the hard times that came along with 2020.

That being said, we are requesting that the Hallmark Channel provides a 24/7 Christmas Movie Channel for their customers. Many customers have expressed that they miss the older Christmas movies because it is hard to incorporate a steady rotation of the older movies with the newer ones. A 24/7 Hallmark Christmas Channel could quench the nostalgia of the older story lines that we usually have to search outside of Hallmark for. A 24/7 Christmas Channel could continue to renew hope, joy, and comradery among fellow Hallmark lovers. It's no secret that 2020 was rough...we are asking Hallmark to help continue to give us a brighter outlook.
