The Staff at the Hebrew Academy is requesting a half the day before  Bedikat Chametz. This has always been a half day over the past 20+ years. Being  that a majority of the staff are people who are making Pesach, we feel is it a necessity. We also know there will be several teachers and staff members out which is extremely problematic for proper coverage of the students. All of the local Jewish Day schools in the area have a half day or no school at all such as Hillel, BMA, LEC, Toras Emes YES and more.
