We want the P.B.G City Council, City of P.B.G., and P.B. County to veto the approval for the PGA Waterfront WMXD PUD project (PETITION #: PPUD-14-01-000034) and all associated petitions.

The proposed development planned for the corner of PGA Blvd and Ellison Wilson Rd, a.k.a. PGA Waterfront WMXD, and all associated petitions (see above) will be a burden on Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Singer Island, Juno Beach, and other neighboring communities.

Traffic in this area is already unbearable and unsafe.  Car accidents regularly occur at the corner of PGA Blvd and US 1 as a direct result of traffic over congestion and confusion, especially when the PGA bridge goes up (every 30 minutes).  The PGA Waterfront WMXD project will result in worse unmanageable traffic and waterway congestion, which will negatively affect our roads and bridges and creep deeper into neighboring towns.

PGA Waterfront WMXD will increase traffic volume and noise on quiet, family-neighborhood roads as drivers begin to use them as alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion at the proposed site.  These alternate roads  are not designed and do not have the capacity to handle a large increase in traffic.  There is regular garbage collection scheduled on these roads.  Additionally, these roads are lined with multiple elementary and middle schools and school crosswalks.  The approval of the PGA Waterfront WMXD project puts neighborhood children, other pedestrians, neighborhood drivers, and tourists at unnecessary increased risk for injury and negatively impact quality of life for the area.

We ask, that in the best interest of local residents, you do NOT approve the PGA Waterfront WMXD project and all related petitions.
