Kayla Gibbs started this petition to H&M

H&M is violating the basic human rights that are in the UDHR.

H&M factories are very unsafe working environments for all of their employees. They don’t have any installed fire exits, and their bosses even abuse the workers. The way that H&M runs their factories violates article 3.

Article 3 is, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.”  By not having any fire exits, H&M is endangering their workers lives.

Also the workers feel as if they have no personal security in their lives because their bosses abuse them. This also then ties into article 5 , the right that “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” By being punched and kicked to the floor when workers don’t meet their quota, H&M is also violiting this human right.

This is a very serious issue and it needs to stop. So please, if you want to help create change, sign this petition and boycott H&M with us.

Thank you.
