Luis Moreno started this petition to H-E-B

Governor Abbott has lifted the state mask mandate. Businesses are allowed to require masks of their customers. Target, Wal Mart and other grocers will continue to require masks but not H-E-B. H-E-B is the largest grocery chain in Texas and in some communities it is the only one. While less than 7% of Texans are vaccinated, H-E-B is directly contributing to the prolongation of the epidemic by refusing to require masks of its customers. Masks have been proven to be an effective deterrent to the spread of the COVID-19. Texas is one of the leading states in the emergence of dangerous variants of the virus. By requiring the use of masks from its shoppers and not just its employees, H-E-B will be contributing to the healthcare of the state but of the nation.
