Place Gwinnett Co patrols on Loganville Highway to prevent motorists cutting off traffic

If you drive down Loganville Hwy each day to get to/from school, you know that 25 min before and after school is when the road is most crowded; students, parents, and teachers are in the greatest amount of rush; and resultantly, there are numerous motorists cutting each other off in traffic. Specific instances of this include (1) entering the school - cutting off motorists to get into the turning lane from Loganville Highway to Champion Way (2) leaving the school - getting into the blocked off "middle" lane (even though it is not a true middle lane) at the traffic light to make a left turn from Champion Way to Loganville Hwy.
These traffic violations have caused many accidents in the past. It is not only students but even parents and teachers who make this violation (two Grayson High School teachers have gotten tickets before for such violations).
Personally, being cut off every day trying to get to and leave the school causes me a lot of stress of getting in an easily-preventable car accident. Seeing even adults driving around our high school so unsafely is utterly unacceptable and must be stopped.
Grayson High School cannot place a patrol on Loganville Hwy because the county is responsible for that road, not the school. Please sign this petition as a proposal to Gwinnett Co Highway Patrol to place an officer at the Loganville Hwy-Champion Way intersection before/after school to stop the violations listed above. Send this petition to fellow students, parents, teachers, and anyone in support of safe driving. Thank you!
